The epistles of Paul repeatedly use the word Mystery of Christ. He reveals to us that this Mystery is directly related to the Church because the Church is the Body of Christ, or Body of the Mystery. This Mystery would not be revealed unless we start by Crucifixion of Christ which would also enlighten the Christ-Life, through the Resurrection of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2 says that the Mystery has been hidden for ages and generations for one purpose: The Glory of the Church.
Unless we settle in our hearts that this Glory is the sole purpose of God manifesting on earth, in flesh, taking Man’s Sin and Death, we would not open ourselves to receive the Grace that has been given to us. Hebrews 2 speaks of the Death of Jesus as a necessary step in “bring many Sons to Glory” and calls it the “Grace of God”.
The Mystery of Christ needs a Revelation of Christ that causes what was hidden to appear. Colossians 3 says what is now hidden is “our Life”, which is “the Christ”. At the appearing of “Christ”, our Life also appears, something that humanity is yet to see: “The Manifestation of Sons of God”. This “Christ” is the “Book of Life”, in every believer, as the Hope of Glory. By reading the Book that is inside of us, our Hope which is not yet seen, will become “visible”.
The Gospel of Christ reveals that God has brought mankind the ultimate Good News of freedom from Sin, Suffering and Death. Jesus took what was destroying the children upon Himself to bring the Gift of Eternal Life.
